A friendly reminder from the Silver Lake Jubilee and our friends at The Fold: When posting your totally rad concert posters you worked so hard on, please don’t do so on public property (light poles, telephone poles, electrical boxes, sides of buildings)—it’s illegal!

You might say to yourself, “But everyone else is doing it.” And you’re right. But consider this: Last year, more than 25 cases of illegal postering from bands playing Bootleg Theater and Silver Lake Lounge resulted in heavy fines and extreme headaches for all involved. Fees ranged from $250 to $1,000+. Satellite, The Echo and other venues experience similar troubles with this issue.

So, continue to post your totally rad posters, but please do so in an appropriate space.
